Celebrant

What is a Wedding Celebrant?

A celebrant is a person who performs ceremonies marking some of life's biggest milestones. As well as officiating weddings, celebrants often perform vow renewals, baby naming ceremonies

A celebrant will create a bespoke, meaningful ceremony that isn't religious. They do not have to follow templates or 'tick boxes' meaning couples will have complete creative freedom to make their day how they want it to be, just have it your way

Your Ceremony Can Be Individual As You

Have you always dreamed about a wedding ceremony that captures you? A ceremony that doesn't conform to rules and is modern, intimate and personal to you both. As your Kent-based Celebrant I will be working with you to create your dream day. I create a bespoke ceremony with you and your unique style in mind. I will write and tell your love story, incorporating little details and building a beautiful day around this!

Let’s celebrate your love in your own unique way!

any time
any place
anywhere

Make your dreams a reality with a wedding ceremony or civil partnership celebration that truly reflects the couple you are. Music, readings, symbolic rituals…you have the freedom to choose just how your ceremony will flow.
I’ll combine all of the information you provide and then start to design your ceremony.
I’ll weave your story and your chosen symbolic elements into the ceremony.
Your vows and ring exchange follow before you are introduced to the world as a newly married couple!
Any time, any place, anywhere, your imagination IS your only limitation!

Registration of marriage currently costs £35 p.p. for your notices and £49 for the room hire(at a Register Office). Add the cost of your marriage certificate and you can legally be registered for less than £130! (ask for the most basic registration)

"For a marriage to be recognised in law in England & Wales, a legally-binding ceremony, commonly known as a ‘registration of a marriage’, MUST take place, normally at a Register Office."(The same applies to a civil partnership registration)

The service can be very short and basic and does not have to involve the exchange of rings or vows if you don’t want it to.
Once completed, you then have the choice of where, how and when you want to exchange your vows and rings and enjoy your celebrations.

"why not have me as your Toastmaster and your Celebrant"

Combine me as your Celebrant with Toastmaster, and then I will be there all day running and project managing your day

There are so many plus points to doing this, firstly we have got to know each other already, so why not have me do both important roles?

I would first perform your wedding ceremony then get changed into my famous red tailcoat and perform my toastmaster duties and manage the rest of the day
